Do you know any general horse info?
ByI’m new to horses but would like to know more about them. If you know anything at all about them, tell me! Some things I ‘m interested in:
Prices (of horses, supplies, and stable renting)
Training
Breeds
Daily, monthly, yearly chores
Health, diseases, and medication
Equipment (I’m interested in riding English, so what would I need?) Also any brands you recommend
Signs of a healthy horse
Signs of a good stable
Diet
Which gender is better and why
Dressage and show isn’t really important to me, I’d just like to know about general horse care.
Well, if I missed anything, be sure to tell me of it. You don’t need to answer ALL of that, but if you want to, fire away. I would never want to get a horse not knowing what it needs. Thanks you so, so much.

hey,
i havnt been with horses for long myself, i have never really had the chance, i attend a riding school every so often and im loving it!.
horses can be so much fun, for me horses are my life.
im not sure if you have a horse or not, though if you are a beginner rider it may be best to start off at a pony club, there they teach you how to take care of your horse, grooming, horses behaviour and of course riding.
also what type of riding style would you like, english or western, i myself prefer western riding as i love barrell racing.
for english riding, you may want an all purpose saddle, and if your intersted in showjumping you may want a jumping saddle. be sure to get your saddle properly fitted to your horse as you dont want to injure your horses wither.
i shop at horseland for all my horse gear, dublin is a great bran, its inexpensive as has great quality.
horses take a lot of hard work and effort although they are worth every part of it. if your horse is kept in a stable then the stable must be free off horse manure and fresh bedding must be provied, also if your horse is kept in a paddock, be sure to keep it rugged in winter time and always have fresh water available for it in thr yard. depending on the paddock condition, if the paddock is hard and rocky you may want to get your horses hooves filed and cliped regularly if you choose not to have him shod.
as far as the gender goes, i have heard that stallions may be fiesty and not very quiet. if you just want a calm horse i suggest a gelding or a mare.
thats really all the info i can help you with, hope i have answered your question!
