Go to a local Tack Store & look for flyers, then go & check the places out. Thats how I found where I ride. Horses are expensive animals to purchase and maintain, and they can be very dangerous if you don't know how to handle them properly. Also, a lot of people want to learn to ride, but after they've done it for a while, they decide it's not really for them. In the midwest United States, you can get an hour's lesson for about 25 dollars. Spending a hundred dollars and being able to walk away if you should decide you don't like to ride is much better than spending a couple thousand on an animal you're now stuck with and don't even want.<br><b>References : </b><br>Horse owner.
