What are some good horse books?
ByHey there, so I want to learn more about like feeding, conformation, ect. Considering, I don’t have that much knowledge of them. I’ve been riding 9 years, so I don’t really want books, that explain how to ride, considering i know how to ride, so what are some good books that can help me learn more about like advanced horse care? I know the basic stuff, like grooming, and such. Just any good books would be great
Thanks Lambo! I’ll will defineantly check that out!

Hunter Seat Equitation by George Morris. It’s got bible status among Hunt Seat riders. It doesn’t matter how long you have been riding… this book has something for everyone.
Grooming to Win is an excellent book as well.

Horse Owners Handbook by Penny Swift.
also, the following two books have good sections of horse care advice as well as everything else youd want to know about horses and riding.
The Complete Encyclopedia Of Horses by Josee Hermsen
Complete Book Of Horses and Riding by Judith Draper, Debby Sly, and Sarah Muir.
How these are what you’re looking for!
