Thx ur video was very useful. I’m looking forward to buy a VERY gentle new bit to put on my english bridle (i usually ride western). So I think I should choose a ‘fat’ D ring snaffle with rubber…and with a copper ‘dog bone’ instead of a single link in the middle. I didnt see any dog bones or ‘double linked’ bits in ur presentation, wat do you think of these? are they really mild due to the fact that they illiminate the ‘nutcracker’ effect? thx for ur advices :)

thanks :) what my impediment was …was availability :) that’s what I had on hand at the moment :)…I’ve got my mitts on some more…and you’re right a gag is certainly worth a discussion/ vid …I have to get the vids up that my students can use first…so I’m afraid we’ll have to wait until I get “anatomy” and “leads” up…but then…more bits for sure :) people use a LOT of tough devices …when really more good/ thoughtful coaching might be in order

good vid… maybe if you make another one include like that snaffles can be plain, slow twist, corkscrew or double twisted wire and waterford…. also i would include a 2 and 3 ring bc there are very common and alot of people should use them… also a gag bc some poeple use that strong bit when they dont need too
