About Katie

Katie Olson is an accomplished equestrian in the Hunter/Jumper discipline, and she is an experienced horse trainer.  She has ridden and/or trained several horses over her eleven-year career as a passionate rider.

Katie has competed in many horse shows and has won numerous ribbons, awards, and championships during her illustrious career.

Katie has gained a considerable amount of knowledge about riding, safety, horse care, and equine disease. Her peers recognize her as an expert in horse training.

At an early age, Katie discovered the God-given talent she has to work with horses and has decided to devote her life to working with what she considers “the most extraordinary animals God created”.

In addition to working with horses, Katie is an active member of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO, participating in Tag Student Ministries.  She devotes much of her time to helping others and is well liked by everybody who knows her.

Katie is the daughter of John and Jan Olson. She has three sisters and one brother.  The Olson family makes their home in Colorado Springs, CO.

Pictured with Katie above is her beloved horse “Monty” (Short for Montego Bay).  They spend hours together and in a short time have become a dynamic team.
